Phew. Now it really seems real. Tonight we bought our plane tickets and I guess that makes things official. We will be leaving Dayton International on Tuesday morning, November 12th, VERY early in the morning, and will arrive in Hefei, China, Wednesday night, November 13th, at around 9:00. That is some LONG travel time!!!

The good news is that we are going to be home a little before 6:00 PM on Thanksgiving Day! Isn’t that exciting?! We will have a wonderful day celebrating Thanksgiving with our new, much larger family and my parents. THAT is going to be a great Thanksgiving!! I wonder were we will get lo-main noodles???

The one challenge that we will be facing is getting seats together on the flights, especially on the way home. There will be seven of us coming back (I am getting a headache already) and because of the holidays the carriers have cut a lot of flights, which in turn means less seats available. Our agent is going to call Delta tomorrow and see what he can get the airline to do for us. However, I think we are just happy to have tickets and get home in such good time.

That leaves us a little over a week to finish preparing… Gulp …
